- Arroobba Travel Review added: 2018.03.31★ ★ ★ ★ ★Ok. so do NOT confuse this with either the field kitchen (where you can enjoy a very delicious meal) OR, the Farm shop (which is just down the road). There's a separate review for that and it's a great place too.
This is the farm, where a lot of the hard work happens. If you get the Riverford organic food boxes delivered, then this is one of the places they may come from.
So, what's here for you? A fantastic walk. Which encompasses a lot of the surrounding fields and some spectacular scenery. Just pop into the field kitchen and ask for a map (and an audio tour, which we weren't able to get) and then go and enjoy the walk. It'll last an hour or so and will go up some pretty steep gradients.
Once you've found your way back. Enjoy a delicious cup of tea or coffee at the field kitchen and wonder why you've not booked in for dinner. The smells coming from there are delicious.
Before you go. Head over to the poly tunnel and see if Penny is around. She's amazing and a great person to chat with.
We had ourselves a great time and fortunately we returned the following day for lunch. You can find a review of that elsewhere. Suffice to say, it was equally amazing.
